WaveAccess’s first AI Jam: key takeaways from the session
At WaveAccess’s first AI Jam, a collaborative, role-play session built on authentic AI use cases, business leaders exchanged perspectives on what works with AI today and what still needs clarity. The conversation surfaced both practical opportunities and shared concerns around accountability and leadership.
What happens when you gather 17 leaders in one room and give them space to rethink how AI fits into real business work?
In November, 2025, our WaveAccess Germany team hosted their first AI event — "AI Interactive: Leadership Jam", led by Stanislav Appelganz, Head of Business Development, and Alexander Isaenco, Technical Director. And the format proved its value right away.

The evening combined practical exercises with interactive exploration of applied AI in business. 17 business leaders from development, marketing, healthcare, finance, and other functions came together, each bringing a different angle. The atmosphere was deliberately relaxed, which helped everyone speak openly and compare experiences without hesitation.
The questions discussed were both pragmatic and strategic:
- What actually works in AI today?
- Where does it fall short?
- How do you introduce AI without disrupting existing processes?
- And who ultimately carries responsibility for AI-driven decisions — operationally, legally, and ethically?
To address these questions, the group used the Six Thinking Hats method. Each "hat" represents a distinct perspective — facts, emotions, critique, optimism, creativity, and process control — helping teams examine a problem in a structured way. In practice, this approach keeps discussions focused while revealing insights that usually stay beneath the surface.
The central case of the evening, "AGI and Leadership: Above, beside, or below?", led to a wide-ranging conversation about the role of AI as a decision-maker.
- One view argued: if AI can run a business efficiently, why not let it?
- Another offered a different direction: using AI to take over routine decisions so humans can reclaim time and focus on the parts of life and work that matter most.
The exchange highlighted a clear divide — between those cautious about extensive automation and those ready to explore its advantages.
We're excited to expand this format, make it even more engaging, and continue the conversation! If you'd like to join us at our larger AI event this spring, feel free to reach out to us — hello@wave-access.com.
